Education Philosophy
"My philosophy about education has always been that learning should be fun, creative and contribute to enrich individuals, their community and make the world a better place to live. Unfortunately in nowadays cultural diverse societies we have reached the point where education is being blamed on and seen as supporting the problem.
This I want to change. I believe that when teachers are given the respect, proper tools and guidance, their schools, pupils and communities will flourish.
Human beings are programmed to learn, they are curious beings a characteristic without which they could not know. The activity specific to human beings is the cooperative use of tools in the production of food and other goods, and for that language became necessary. (Paulo Freire)
Add to that the importance of the social context. I want education and society to make best use of the cultural richness of different groups, individuals and influences."
